Ncstar Armorers wrench reviews

Ncstar Armorers Wrench is suitable for the range

Even though there are probably fancier, lighter, and more sophisticated wrenches I bought this one for my range bag and it is light enough and sturdy enough for its purpose, all I’ve used for so far it to tighten a barrel nut for someone else and to retighten my stock because I didn’t torque it properly. This armorers wrench works as intended and didn’t damage any of the finish on my new rifle

Ncstar armorers wrench Does everything but what I need it to…

Great Amorers wrench overall, has the capability of doing many things that I will undoubtedly use. However, the primary reason I purchased this wrench was to torque a Seekins barrel nut for a BAR rail. The first one I received was damaged (three tri-pins were bent, again the part I needed to use of course), . I was sent a replacement immediately – the same day I contacted them actually, fantastic service. The second one I received seemed to have all of the pins in line. However, they are mushroomed slightly, which does not allow proper insertion and alignment of the tool to the barrel nut. I realized this only after I irreparably damaged my barrel nut. It seems to work great but avoid use on a Seekins barrel nut.

Basic Combo Wrench Tool

Limited need so far – Used only to remove or install barrel nuts though a particular app required a much higher degree of a strain than any sensible person would risk. Something should have broken but didn’t. Sturdy and all the parts match up to exact specs. Could pound nails if needed.

Ncstar armorers wrench

This ar15 armorer’s wrench is much sturdier than I thought it would be. I got a barrel extension vice block, and the instructions say to put the wrench in the vice. I was worried at first that the wrench might not be built strong enough to get put into a vice, but it works great! This is probably .25″ or thicker. I think this will last a while.
