I honestly see no more play in the tri-rail forend than I do with the original forend on my maverick 88. It works like a charm and has plenty of space to put whatever attachments I want on it. The rails are all the same length on all three sides. I went on without any problems, and I love the beefy look it gives my shotgun. I can’t wait to upgrade my 88 with a few more things I have my eyes set on. Great Maverick 88 forend for the price, I highly recommend. Screw the bad reviews on this thing. It’s awesome!!!

As others have stated this maverick 88 forend is a little wobbly when installed, I think though its a combination of it being about 1 inch longer and the fact you really don’t notice that type stuff until you take things apart all in all id recommend for the Mossberg maverick 88

Not for Mossberg 500 W/8 Shell Tub

I have a Mossberg 500 tactical pistol grip this fits on the tube very Loosely has an enormous amount of play and will not allow the weapon to feed properly or cycle properly it gets stuck causes the shell feed to not work properly I have removed this from my shotgun install the original, and it works properly I reinstalled again, and it started jamming again do not purchase this if you own a Mossberg 500 tactical. Dont use this as as Mossberg 500 forend.

I love this for my Maverick 88. Feels pretty good in the hand, left and right rails are detachable. I use this for a mounted light and collapsible handle. This operates just as well as the factory. The looseness people complain about was the same as stock for me( I switched back just to make sure). Twist your forend on a mav88, and you’ll know what I mean. Aim Sports did a great job on this part.

Well Made & Very Useful

The Tactical Shotgun Tri-rail Handguard (12 Gauge Mossberg 500 and Maverick 88) is a well-made item. The fit for my Maverick 88 was perfect. The operation of the slide thus far has been flawless. Installation was quick and easy. The rails allow me to add a light to my shotgun, which greatly improves its usability for home defense. With rails on the bottom and both sides, I can add other items if necessary. The rails are a bit rough on the hands while operating the slide, but it is manageable. Overall, I think the Tactical Shotgun Tri-rail Handguard is a valuable addition to any home defense shotgun.
