ATI x2 grip reviews

ATI Scorpion X2 grip = Very Comfortable

This AR grip is very comfortable in the hand. It positions your hand so that the trigger hits the first pad of your finger very nicely. I’m 6’4″ so I have bigger hands and it fits me, but my wife is 5’4″ and has small hands and can still reach the trigger ok. I shoot left handed and it does cause me to have to shift my grip slightly to reach the bolt release lever, but it’s not bad. The larger beaver tail on this grip seems to lay nice and firmly in the web area between your thumb and forefinger giving the feeling of more support and control and the backstrap is made of a fairly soft and grippy rubber that feels nice. The front finger area is stippeld very well and give you a firm grip without being to rough. The desert tan color seems to match Magpul’s flat dark earth well enough that I can’t really see much if any difference. A plus for those that like to add some color is that these grips have have three strips down each front side of the grip that need to be inserted and come attached to a sprue (if you look at the black model that has the red line down the grip, it’s the red line that I’m talking about), I found it very easy to paint these little insert black on my desert tan grip and add a little more flare to the look. You could very easily paint these any color and insert them in a black grip to add some color. The reason I gave it 4 stars is that this grip was very tight on my lower and that made it very difficult to properly line up the screw that holds it on, I actual…

This is the perfect upgrade for the Ruger.

I installed this ATI x2 grip on the Ruger Precision Rifle in 6.5 Creedmoor. This grip greatly improves the angle of my hand in relation to the Trigger. Most importantly I now have my trigger finger in a straight line to the face of the trigger, thus giving the shooter a much better feel when taking the shot.

Works excellent on the Ruger charger pistol

I would highly recommend this ATI x2 grip for any AR-15 or Ruger charger pistol absolutely perfect I put this on my Ruger charger pistol and it works excellent no problems at all gave it a real good feel and they absolutely beautiful look I also purchased two more of these for my MCX Rattler pistol work perfect and an AR-15 pistol build highly recommended

Great, but not quite perfect

I absolutely love the feel of this AR-15 grip, it’s so natural in your hand, and the textured finger grooves hold your hand perfectly still. The only tiny problem I had is that it didn’t sit perfectly flush with my Mega Billet Lower. There was a very minute gap between the top of the grip and the bottom of the receiver, probably not a big deal to anyone but those with gun OCD.

Solid grip for the price

The ATI x2 grip came nicely packaged and fit well on my lower. It was a little tight and I had to force it on a bit but once it was on it was rock solid. It looks and feels great now. It does not have any storage capabilities but that didn’t bother me because I never really use the storage anyway.

Very comfortable grip…

I really like the feel of this AR grip. The two piece construction allows for a rubber back panel that has a softer feel and the front textured section enhances grip. The combination really works to create a unique, effective grip. The grey and black grip paired with a grey stock also gives my ar15 a great two tone look that it subtle but very cool. This was a great upgrade to my rifle. Installation was easy. I would definitely recommend this grip.

Great Grip

I haven’t shot my AR with this grip yet, but the feel if it is very nice and fits my hands quite well. I don’t have the biggest hands, but I tend to wear large sized gloves. The ergonomics of the grip seem really nice too. This is my 3rd grip to try on ARs and it is certainly my favorite so far. For the money, I think it is a quality purchase and would recommend it to anyone with large-ish hands. My 11 year old son likes the grip, but can’t reach the trigger very well yet, so if you have smaller hands you might want to consider a slimmer grip. For the price, it’s hard to beat.

Great grip for my new Ruger Precision 22LR

Had some apprehension about ordering this ATI x2 grip for my new Ruger Precision 22lR because I couldn’t find any threads that discussed using it on the Precision. But. I installed it and it fit perfectly and feels great. Places the trigger finger in a perfect position to fire the rifle. So far so good. Read a thread about it not fitting tight but mine is very snug and looks great.
