Discontinued: Tapco AK-47 Original Style Buttstock
Occasionally, nothing beats the original. We’ve modeled the AK Fixed Stock after the original Bulgarian design so you can keep the look you’ve come to love but with some added features. The AK stock is marked as “TAPCO USA” so it will count towards your compliance parts and it also comes outfitted with a metal buttplate and a sling swivel on the side.
*Will not fit slant cut or milled MAK-90’s. If you’re putting this on a straight cut, stamped MAK-90, some filing will be required to achieve a perfect fit.

This stock fit on my RH10, it’s very sturdy, and looks good. I added this stock to my gun, so I would still be legal, using Comblock metal mags. So I have 6 -922r compliant parts now. I oiled the front part on stock, and pushed it in as far as I could, then I hit bottom of stock on carpet floor, and it slid all the way in. Drilled pilot, and screwed in screws, then removed screws, and added thread lock, It is real sturdy.

I bought this this stock to make my gun 922r compliant while using steel mags. I think this is the best replacement fixed stock you can buy. Great fit & finish, and easy to install, and had drill bit & screws to mount. I checked the swivel part for sling, and noticed it was welded, so it cannot strech, and come loose. It seems not to be thin walled, and feels strong, and looks nice.

This is my first Tapco product, and I am satisfied. I bought this for my MAK-90, and it went on with minimum modifications. I assumed to have to modify it before I received it, but it was easier than I expected – light sanding to fit. Stock is reliable and has good heft, and the metal butt plate is a nice touch in a plastic world! It is considerably shorter than the original thumbhole stock, but with a real pistol grip, my rifle is more comfortable to shoulder now.
