Magpul AFG2 Reviews

Excellent hand grip

I like this low profile Angled Foregrip. It’s not sticking out in the way to hang on things. Overall nice add on to the forearm bar. To anyone looking for a right-hand grip for their AR platform rifle, this is one to consider getting, it plastic so it should last for many years

Magpul AFG2 Angled Foregrip

The Magpul AFG2 I received was accurate to the description and fit the accessory rail on my M4 perfectly. I have large hands and removed the finger insert and used just the flat insert. The gun has a more comfortable grip and easier to hold. I recommend this item.

Angled Foregrip

I initially purchased a vertical grip that accommodated a light tape switch, and I preferred the vertical grip when I wanted to momentarily support the carbine at or near its balance point, just in front of the mag well. However, I am neither an EAD military nor LE. Since I shoot primarily at paper targets, my piston Ruger SR556SC has morphed from a CQB carbine setup to a varmint hunting rifle, mostly at paper range targets at 200 and 300 yds. To that end, I had to ditch the vertical grip, which gets in the way when shooting bench rest or of a backpack. The angled foregrip mounted farther forward allows the rifle to be rested on a bag, and gives me a steadier grip than the stock alone. So I used concealed (small) tie-wraps to put the tape switch on the side rail, because I need the laser light to co-witness the scope and iron sights when switching back and forth between the two in practice. I prefer the insert that allows a smooth grip surface, without the finger grip (some disassembly required). Needless to say, OP is right up there with the best in customer service, product selection, return policy, discount and price structure, and speed of shipment/delivery, not to mention a very knowledgeable tech support/customer service department.

Great grip

This magpul angled foregrip is excellent. It’s way better than no grip. I prefer it over the vertical foregrips. The price is cheap. It’s a quality item. It’s a pretty simple item to require a 200 character review, but we got through it together.

Magpul AFG

This angled foregrip is fantastic. It only needs some section of pic rail to attach. Once tightened down, the Magpul AFG2 will not come to lose. Excellent fit and has a great feel. I have bought three so far. These are my go-to accessory for my AR platforms.

Great product

I shop at MSP because I know the product I will get is authentic. I wouldn’t say I like the shipping here. I make purchases of over $200 and sometimes less. I feel MSP should offer better shipping options if you spend X amount of money. It takes at least 10 “business days” to get my products. MSP should offer their customers free express shipping. I often go to their competitors because they provide these perks. Even if I had to pay a few extra dollars on the product, I would like to get them faster.

Great Product!

I have one of these Magpul AFG2 on every AR and AK pistol I own. I know that there are some higher-end ones out there, but I like the angled foregrip. It took a little getting used to because of the way your hand rests, but it is very comfortable for me.

Quality Foregrips

I bought this handle for use on my SCAR 17s. I also have the Magpul AFG2 installed on my LWRC, 300 Blackout SBR, and I even have the MLOK version on my Rock River. I love these grips and Magpul products in general. Magpul makes excellent quality products. These are very easy to install. If you are looking for a good quality foregrip, you should give this one a try; you won’t be disappointed.

Great price

This is a high quality and well made Angled Foregrip. Fits well in your hand. Very compact as well. MSP’s price, as always, is excellent. It also looks cool on the weapon. I put one on the VEPR 12 and was worried that the weapon’s size would overshadow it, but it enhanced it.
