Ruger Mini-14 Tactical Fits

Ruger Mini 14 folding stock Assembly was a breeze. Per some recommendations, I used a dab of blue Loctite on the Picatinny rails. The fitment it better than the factory synthetic stock. The pistol grip is comfortable and soft rubber. The stock slide is a bit cheap feeling but an overall great buy.

Two stocks

Two stories had a mini 14 and a mini 30. One in black and one in tan(burnt dark earth). I’ve been in the plastics industry for 35 yrs. ATI Outdoors did what Ruger should have done long ago., the Mini 14 folding stock offers options that bring this gun to life. Room to mount anything you could want. And more. One piece of advice would be to de-bur all the sharp edges on all the parts before assembly, it will feel better. Good quality fiber reinforced polymer, very tough. There is one oversight, the screws used to secure the top rail. They should not be tapered but squared end, some strip out when tightened. Knowing all this… I’d buy another one.

StrikeForce Mini 14 Stock

I installed this new tactical folding stock on my Mini 14 186 series several days ago. The installation was straightforward, and the finished product was much better than I expected. I fired the weapon at the range yesterday, and the results exceeded my expectations. The stock is comfortable, and the gun is now more accurate than when I had the wooden stock on it. The only drawback is the foldable butt is a little loose. Other than that I would highly recommend this product

Though the demand for this

Though the demand for this Mini 14 folding stock was high at the time I ordered it, ATI was quick to fill my order. This was very much appreciated. The quality of the stock was exceptional, with no problems in assembly. It fits well, and the buttstock design was better than I thought it would be. I had previously come across the older version of the buttstock and have found the new style’s look and feel an excellent replacement.
This stock is a bit heavier than my previous one, but not ungainly — all in all, an excellent product.

Mini-30 Upgrade

I was torn between buying a M&P-15 and upgrading my Mini-30. My finances decided the issue and I couldn’t be happier! Everything fit perfectly and there were enough sling related parts to make it very versatile. I prefer a one point combat sling and everything worked out nicely. I’d recommend this stock to anybody with a Mini type rifle as it makes it a solid performer!

Happy overall.

When first trying to install my rifle into the stock that I had received, the fit was such that the stock would not allow the gun to seat correctly. Thinking I had received the wrong model stock, I called customer service. I was assured that the stock was correct, but that I would have to file the stock to allow for proper fit. I was not told how to Read more about review stating Happy overall.
To accomplish it. I did manage to remove enough material that the stock now accepts the rifle, but I do feel that the tolerances could have been handled better in the molding of the stock, and that this would not have been necessary. Once installed, the stock functions as advertised, and I am happy with the overall looks.
