This is a AK stock. The Magpul zhukov stock lockup is solid and folds easily. I’m required to write another couple of sentences. I don’t know why! I think my review other than these extra sentences was adequate. I only wish it was a bit less expensive!

Bought two

Fits the palmetto state ak with easy install and stable fit. Needed the extra few inches of pull over the ordinary Magpul stock, and now its much better. Also, have one for the Yugo rifle, and it was the same positives for that platform as well. I have seen some videos where the folding lock was weak, but mine has been excellent.

Great accessory

The Magpul Zhukov Stock was Easy to install and works perfectly. I recommend to anyone looking for the right AK folding stock that’s reliable, sturdy, and comfortable. I will get another one soon. The price was also reasonable.

Great sturdy stock

I bought this Magpul Zhukov Stock for my C39v2 AK. I had to trim a little off tabs to get it seated properly, but that’s what the costs are for. Please take a little off at a time and keep testing the fit until it is correct. I used an x-acto knife. Fit is tight, and it looks great. I highly recommend it.

Magpul Industries Zhukov-S Folding Collapsible Stock

The Magpul Industries Zhukov-S Folding Collapsible Stock is excellent. Works as expected. Typically easy AK install. Solid lockup open or closed. It was much better than Cats. It had a superb rhythm, and I could dance to it.

Magpul Hit!

This Ak stock met the reliability and quality I have come to expect from Magpul. Helpful instructions and design made the installation a snap, and once installed, I was impressed by the strength of the connection between receiver and stock. I bought the Zhukov-S primarily for the adjustable stock length and not the folding feature, which seems to operate well. The folder takes an intentionally aimed depression of the release to activate it’s folding, and once folded, it is actively held in place by two detents. The final assessment will be after several trips to the range to see how it holds up after a morning of firing.

Fit my 308-1 Saiga perfectly stable fit no wiggle folding stock excellent QD swivel holes price a little high but well worth it if you’re looking for a folding stock for your AK this is the one to get you might want to add another QD swivel to the rear of stock use MAGPUL type 1

Magpul folding stock for AK

This aftermarket Ak-47 stock is well built and functions as it should. I am happy with the way it looks and performs. Be aware that there are so many AK style guns out there that there are some slight tweaks that might have to be made for a perfect fit on your weapon. This was the case with my arm, but it was not a problem and took little time to get the correct fit.

Another awesome MAGPUL product

I bought this Magpul Zhukov for my CAI AK 74. It fits great and looks perfect. It was effortless to install. Folds to the right side to allow left side optic mount. Locks in place very well. It has replaced old wood stock that was beaten up. The stock also extends out two or three times (a couple of inches).

Yes I definitely would recommend this Magpul Zhukov Stock it was very very easy to install if you follow the instruction it looks excellent it worked great look complain I did order that expanded rubber pad but a thrill of it they change the look of my AK-47 and I would recommend it very happy with this purchase

Magpul Makes It Happen

While all of us have had plenty of options for improving an AR-15, this has not been the case for the AK-47 platform. I guess this is because there is no such thing as a “mil-spec” AK-47. Magpul has stepped up and created the US designed and made folding stock that improves upon my AK-47s. I bought two of these Magpul Zhukov Stocks: one for my Century C39V2 milled AK and one for my Saiga stamped AK. I had no issues installing stock in either rifle. I had to shave a minimal amount off of the front of the one installed on the Century rifle as the receiver walls are slightly thicker than the stamped Saiga. These stocks are well thought out. They swing into position tightly and do not flop around. They have the added benefit of an adjustable length of pull. If you desire you can also purchase cheek risers in three thicknesses that snap into place. The process reverses, and you can go back to original stock at any time. Well thought out product!
