The Patriot Ordinance Factory is well known for high quality piston, driver AR rifles and pistols. The Patriot Ordinance Factory is also known as POF USA and it recently created ReVolt; a new botlt action AR-15 platform.

According to POF USA, ReVolt is legal in all 13 original colonies.

ReVolt is unique and different from other bolt action rifles. The ReVolt offers precise accuracy with its 18.5 inch standard barrel. Its straight pull design is also contained within a magazine fed AR-style platform.

The ReVolt’s components include an Enhanced Finger Placement Trigger (EFP), Luth-AR MBA-1 stock and a Magpul MOE pistol Grip.

For lefties, the rifle feature ambidextrous controls and anti-rotational trigger pins.

The front pivot pin of the ReVolt has been replaced with a capture or takedown pin which allows the upper to rotate from the lower and allows the lower to open up. This development has helped in keeping the ReVolt legal.

Patented E² Extraction Technology

Quick follow up shots have been enabled as a result of the upgrade of the upper components of the ReVolt. The ReVolt is  now capable of a short bolt throw. The rifle has a patented E² extraction technology, This technology allows built up gas pressure to flow backwards and push on the shoulders of the spent casintg. The technology of the ReVolt demonstrates four channels along the nech of the chamber. Extractor life is also improved by ReVolt and this is one of the ReVolts advantatges.

The ReVolt’s lack of top rails allows the user to add magnifier optics and shorter scope rings. If an optional top rail is needed then it can be retrofitted by the user. The ReVolt also features a 14.5-inch M-rail AR-15 handguard.

The ReVolt has so far being manufactured as a stand as one rifle system but it can be converted to a semi-automatic rifle.
In a month the POF USA ReVolt rifle will be available and the price averages around $2,229 for the .233 Rem./5.56mm rifle and $2,949 for the .308 Win./7.62.mm rifle. The .308 upper will soon be available for $1,399; it includes a 10-round mag and capture pin. The .308 upper will also soon be available and it would only fit POF-USA lowers.

PHOENIX, AZ (October 2014) — Patriot Ordnance Factory (POF-USA) continues with an American Revolution in Innovation and brings out the ReVolt™.  A new bolt action rifle, available in light (.223cal / 5.56mm) and heavy (.308cal / 7.62mm) variations for your shooting demands, which is legal in all 13 original Colonies.

These rifles feature a 14.5” M-LOK compatible handguard with 18.5” nitride heat-treated, deep fluted barrels.  New to the market is the ReVolt™ action; a straight pull only action with feed assist chambering of the next round.  The lightweight and popular Luth-AR buttstock is a standard feature on the new line.

POF-USA has maintained a focus on modularity – not only in the rifles, but also the ar15 accessories.  The bolt action handle on the ReVolt™ models can be used as a tool for tightening and removing scope mounts and rail accessories.  Muscle memory skills are virtually the same for this platform as a standard POF rifle, and all ambidextrous controls found in our Gen 4 series rifles are found in this loaded package. In addition to all of the fine features in our rifles, the ReVolt™ models also feature our E² extraction technology.  E² extraction is a patented feature of four channels along the neck of the chamber.  The channels allow gas pressure to flow backwards and push on the shoulders of the spent casing resulting in extractor life of 5X that of a standard extractor due to the push / pull action.

The ReVolt™ top end is available as a separate purchase and ships with a 10 round magazine and capture pin. This capture pin replaces the front pivot pin, permanently attaching the upper receiver to the lower receiver while maintaining the ability to “shotgun” the rifle for maintenance. The capture pin was essential in our quest to innovate a magazine fed, AR style, bolt action rifle that qualifies for wnership in all 50 states.

You can hunt with the ReVolt™ as a stand-alone weapon system or install the complete top end on your already existing mil-spec (.223cal / 5.56mm) lower half to maintain the legality necessary inowning an AR style rifle in many of the Colonies.
