Good, stable ar-15 grip. Great replacement from the stock grip for the price. Would have got five stars if the tiny allen wrench would have been provided. The trap door on the bottom is a little flimsy but useful. Three stars are good, but you will need to buy a smithing tool for pin removal, and a teeny tiny allen wrench.

Well molded and is a comfortable, basic, durable AR-15 grip. I have read a few complaints that the compartment hatch is flimsy and should be better tooled. However, it is the same design as actual M249’s use. The only difference is the compartment door is plastic, not metal. This grip matches very well with Tapco’s foregrip; they implement the same lines and overall design.

The installation is as with any stock grip, just very snug and required a little coaxing to get started. I agree with the previous reviews about the storage compartment latch and door needing improvement. Overall though, it has a good feel and fit, and I would buy it again.

Installed the Tapco AR SAW Grip with no issues on my M&P15. The wider grip fits my hand great and allows me to have better control. The only reason for 4 stars is the compartment door and spring latch, that need to be improved but if all you are looking for it a larger grip it does the job very well.

I was vervy please to get fast shipping from MSP. Once I got it I placed the Tapco AR Grip on my A-2 lower with a .458 SOCOM upper, the installation was simple. Using the original screw is convenient. The fit was excellent. Finger grooves/locators never fit my hand’s finger position. This grip is a 100% cure for that. When using a different upper, my only other change is the boresnake inside the grip, which reminds me of another complaint I observed; the grip’s trapdoor. Mine is easy to opens and can be operated with either hand and with the gun in any direction. It has never failed – even under the .458’s substantial recoil. I don’t understand; what’s not to like?
