MAGPUL’S MSN 1 RIFFLE STRING

The MSN 1 is Magpul’s latest edition to the series of quality riffle strings that Magpul has availed to the markets. The riffle sling provides an optimized and dedicated two point feature that serves very well in a one point feature when using optional adapters. This riffle sling system provides fast adjustments that make it possible to be either lengthened or shortened and it will not slip once it has been set. The sling also doesn’t have tails, loops or anything else like that which may pose potential snag danger.  When it is used for a dual purpose role, the MS1 will allow easy shoulder transitions, quick adjustability for hands free rifle carry and shooting support from various positions. The MS1 system also features a series of adapters that are sold separately and based on the MS3 and MS4 slings. You can easily add one-point function to your MS1 by simply just adding the suitable adapter that is available in Paraclip or QD.

When tested the sling virtually survives numerous cycles in wet, dry, and even sandy conditions, static load testing without slippage for 72 hours. In addition to the several controlled lab tests it was also subjected to strong water currents by people who swam, it was tested by people who jumped with it, hunted with it, hiked into the mountains with it, and most importantly shot with it in a variety of rugged field conditions.

Like all of the other slings that Magpul manufactures, the MS1 system is made entirely in the US, and is fully Berry Amendment compliant. It is now available in Black and Coyote, with Ranger Green and Stealth Gray expected soon. The other slings coming soon are GEN 2 versions of the MS3, MS3-QD, and MS4 slings built around the MS1.

Magpul MS1 Sling System Components

There is the MS 1 MS 3 adapter which can be combined with the MS 1 Sling and Paraclip (MAG541) to provide 2-1 Point convertibility. It also features melonite finished steel and a reinforced polymer construction. It also has a custom snag-free high-durability 1-1/4” webbing.

Magpul MS1 MS3-QD Adapter

This gadget when combined with MS1 Sling and Paraclip (MAG541) provides 2-1 Point convertibility that is needed. It also features a manganese-phosphate finished steel and reinforced polymer construction. It also has custom snag-free high-durability 1-1/4″ webbing.

Magpul MS1 MS4 Adapter

This is combined with MS1 Sling and QD Swivel (MAG540) to provide 2-1 Point convertibility feature. It also features a Melonite and manganese-phosphate finished steel and reinforced polymer construction that ensures it is strong. It also has a custom snag-free high-durability 1-1/4″ webbing.

Magpul Paraclip 

This is a clip-style sling attachment point for 1-1/4″ webbing.

It is lockable, has a Melonite finished steel and reinforced polymer construction and is compatible with ASAP Plate, RSA, MSA, and other clip-in sling attachment points.

Magpul QD Sling Swivel

This gadget features a push-button and quick-detach sling swivel for 1-1/4″ webbing. It also has Manganese-phosphate finished Steel. It is also compatible with QD sling attachment points.
